 SPA941 Configuration Guide
Solution
1) Make sure your SPA941 is plugged in and connected to your switch, hub or router.

2) Press on the Menu or "envelope" button

3) Go to the Network Settings section and you should hear a series of numbers. This is the IP address of your device. Write this down. it should be something like: 192.168.0.111

5) Open your web browser and type http://IPADDRESS where IPADDRESS is the IP address you wrote down in step 4. E.g. http://192.168.0.111

6) You should now be inside your device. Note: Some devices ask for a username and password. This is usually just "admin" (without the quotes) with no password. Or admin for both.



(Replace 1777XXXXXX with your SIPME number, anything not specifically mentioned can be left blank or left at default value)


7) Click on the "Admin Login" and "Advance" link near the top right side of the screen, then click on the "Ext 1" tab.

8) Line enable: select Yes

9) Under the "Proxy and Registration" section, enter in the following information:

Proxy: sip.sipme.com.au
Register: Yes
Register Expire: 3600


10) Under the "Subscriber Information" section

Display Name: [your name]
UserID: 1777XXXXXX
Password: [your SIP password]
Use Auth ID: select Yes
Auth ID: 1777XXXXXX

11) Under the "Audio Configuration" Section

Preferred codec: G729a
Use Pref Codec only: yes
Silence Supp Enable: no
DTMF Tx Method: Auto or inband


12) Click on the "Save Settings " button at the bottom of the form.
